About Jonathan


A versatile and talented character actor Jonathan Lloyd Walker’s recent credits include the Summit feature “Red” starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and a slew of other A list Hollywood talent.  He spent much of 2010 performing guest star roles on American network series such as “V”, “Smallville” and True Justice”. Jonathan has two other features scheduled for release this year including “Transparency” for Canadian director and friend Raul Sanchez Inglis and the Universal feature “The Thing”, a prequel to the iconic 1982 John Carpenter film of the same name.

Jonathan was born and raised in Henley-on-Thames, England. His family moved to Canada when he was a teenager, and he began acting in both school plays and with the Children’s Theatre Company in Montreal. After college, and serving as an officer in the Canadian infantry, Jonathan resumed his passion for acting and began his professional career in Vancouver. His early work included roles in the TV movie “Volcano: Fire on the Mountain”, the series “Viper”, and multiple appearances on the award winning and popular series “The X-Files”.

Jonathan is proud of his chameleon like ability to play diverse and challenging roles. His credits include complex roles like Mark Twain in “The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne” and Jesus Christ in “The Second Coming”. Equally adept at playing heroes or villains Jonathan is the consumate character actor with both range and complexity.


With a history of diverse writing projects including dramatic features, sci-fi series and half hour comedies, Jonathan has recently been helping a new series ‘Out of Time’. Currently in pre-production it will begin broadcasting on Shaw in the Spring of 2012.


Jonathan has teamed up with his creative partner and life partner Sheona McDonald under the banner Dimestore Productions Inc.
